Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physics or a closely related field required.
• Ph.D. in Physics or a closely related field preferred.
• Experience teaching undergraduate physics laboratory and lecture courses.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate physics lecture and/or laboratory courses.
• Prepare and deliver course content per departmental curriculum and objectives.
• Develop, administer, and grade exams, quizzes, assignments, and lab reports.
• Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and progress.
• Submit common exam and final grades by university deadlines.
• Hold scheduled office hours and assist students outside of class.
• Utilize the university's learning management system and instructional technologies.
• Attend departmental meetings and training as required.
• Collaborate with the Director of First Year Physics on common examinations and coordination.
• Promote an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
