Southcentral KY Community & Technical College is seeking a Part Time Physics Lab Assistant. This role is open to current SKYCTC students only and supports physics faculty and students in physics laboratories.

Responsibilities include lab preparation, equipment maintenance, and assisting with class activities under instructor supervision, with confidentiality maintained for instructional materials.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of college-level physics courses.
• Proficient in both written and verbal communication, including computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the labs for demonstrations and student practice.
• Maintains laboratory equipment, environment, and inventory, including cleaning, storing, and restocking supplies.
• Assists faculty with facilitation of laboratory activities and other class preparations, such as photocopying or grading, under close direction and review of the instructor of record while maintaining strict confidentiality.
