Job summary

Regis University is seeking affiliate faculty to teach in-person astronomy and physics laboratory courses for AS 251, PH 205A and PH 305A. Courses are taught on a per credit hour basis as needed, with alignment to the department syllabus and course objectives.

Responsibilities include delivering engaging instruction, maintaining grade records, and providing student support during regular office hours. Preference given to candidates with teaching experience in physics or astronomy.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in physics, astronomy, or closely related field.
• Experience teaching physics or astronomy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach in-person astronomy and physics labs (AS 251, PH 205A, PH 305A) on a per credit hour basis.
• Keep complete and accurate grade records and communicate with students and department chair.
• Maintain regular office hours to support students and coordinate with the chair.
