Job summary

Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine seeks physician instructors for part-time, intermittent, fixed term appointments to cover teaching needs on our Athens, OH, Cleveland, OH or Dublin, OH campuses. Positions are non-tenure track and non-benefits eligible for AY 2026-2027, with ongoing pool consideration through 6/30/2027.

Instructors deliver didactic instruction, participate in small group teaching and labs, and may serve as content experts across family medicine, internal medicine, OB/GYN,

Qualifications

• DO or MD degree required.
• AOA or ABMS board eligible or certified.
• Active state medical board license in good standing.
• DEA license or eligibility.
• Teaching experience in medical education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver didactic instruction for and evaluation of medical students.
• Conduct small group teaching and clinical skills labs.
• Serve as a clinical content expert/facilitator for curriculum.
