Job summary

Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine seeks instructors for osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM) teaching across its Athens, Cleveland, and Dublin campuses. This pool posting covers potential needs for AY 2026-27, with part-time, non-tenure track positions that may be offered as teaching sessions or small group instruction.

Applicants should have AO A-approved training, board eligibility, and a passion for mentoring medical students.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an American Osteopathic Association (AOA)–approved osteopathic college by start date of position.
• Satisfactory completion of an AOA–approved internship and AOA–approved residency program by start date of position.
• Board eligible for or board certified by the AOA.
• Current licensure by a state medical board.

Responsibilities

• Teach the clinical application of osteopathic principles and manipulative medicine in ambulatory and hospital-based practices.
• Participate in small group instruction sessions for years 3 and 4, including teaching OMM skills and providing clinical correlations.
