VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a Part Time Physician (M.D. or D.O.) at Women's Huron Valley Correctional Facility in Ypsilanti, Michigan. The Staff Physician works under the Site Medical Director with broad latitude for independent judgment as part of the medical team.

The role requires state licensure, DEA registration, and board certification. Active involvement in quality care reviews, staff education, and coordination of care is expected.

Formación

• Must be a licensed Physician in state of employment.
• Current DEA registration.
• Board certified and qualified by state laws/regulations to practice medicine.

Responsabilidades

• Provides emergency on-site treatment and responds to urgent or emergency situations.
• Attends medical staff meetings as required and provides monthly in-service education.
• Sponsors Physician Assistants as required.
• Ensures medical record documentation is in SOAP format, timely, legible, and signed.
• Utilizes in-house resources for treatment before off-site referral when possible.
• Coordinates coverage for medical services during extended absences.
• Notifies Site Medical Director/Health Services Administrator of schedule changes.
• Other duties as requested by the Site Medical Director.
