Job summary

Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences invites applications for associated faculty in the School of Physical Therapy. Positions may be per diem or part-time at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor, with duties focused on teaching the DPT curriculum in clinical areas of expertise.

Responsibilities include developing course materials, coordinating and grading, administering assessments, and maintaining professional licensure.

Qualifications

• Earned doctoral or terminal professional degree from an accredited institution.
• Licensed or eligible for PT licensure in Washington State; minimum 3 years of practice if teaching clinical DPT courses.
• Terminal doctoral degree with evidence of other professional qualifications (e.g., ABPTS or other specialty certification) required to be hired at the rank of Assistant Professor.

Responsibilities

• Teaching DPT courses in area of clinical expertise.
• Developing course materials, syllabi, and instructional methods.
• Administering student assessments including exams, quizzes, and assignments.
• Maintaining licensure and certification as appropriate.
• Participating in ongoing curriculum and program assessment.
• Meeting classes as scheduled and providing required office hours.
