Responsibilities

• Applies plan of care under the supervision of a physical therapist to help patients improve movement.
• Determines or revises priorities for direct/indirect patient care based on patient need and resources; collaborates with nursing.
• Instructs patient and caregiver in treatment programs, precautions and equipment use; documents demonstrations.
• Documents all treatments in the EMR per department policies and procedures.
• Submits accurate charges for services using the billing system via the EMR.
• Oversees students and volunteers as assigned.
