Job summary

Athletico is seeking a Rehabilitation Aide for our Chesapeake clinic. You will assist Patient Experience Coordinators and clinicians with administrative and clinical duties, greeting patients and supporting therapists during treatments.

The role emphasizes teamwork, accurate documentation, and compassionate patient care. A High School diploma is welcomed, with prior rehab aide experience preferred; part-time hours offer flexibility and exposure to a dynamic outpatient environment at Athletico.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or intern preferred.
• Work experience: Prior Rehab Aide or Rehab Tech preferred.
• Knowledge: Strong communication and clear documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for physical therapy treatments and assists therapists during sessions.
• Safeguards, motivates, and assists patients during exercises and functional activities.
• Provides routine treatments (hot/cold packs, ultrasound, electrical stimulation).
• Cleans work area and equipment after treatment.
• Washes linens and maintains linen cabinets; restocks supplies.
• Assists in answering phones, scheduling, and filing paperwork.
• May help track and order clinic inventory.
