Athletico Physical Therapy in Belvidere, IL, is seeking a part-time Rehabilitation Aide to support clinicians and the Patient Experience Coordinator. You will greet patients, assist with treatments, and handle routine administrative tasks while complying with state practice act requirements.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, guiding exercises, performing basic modalities, and maintaining the clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma; internship preferred.
• Experience: Prior clinical aide or rehab tech experience preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills - written and verbal.
• Documentation: Ability to clearly document projects and manage production.
• Attention to detail and time management are required.
• Patient satisfaction: Providing care that exceeds expectations.
• Energetic and a team player; compassionate toward patients.
• Basic knowledge of office equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for physical therapy treatments and assist with treatments.
• Safeguard and motivate patients performing exercises under supervision.
• Provide routine treatments (hot/cold packs, modalities).
• Clean work area and equipment after treatment.
• Maintain linens and restrooms; restock supplies as needed.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and file paperwork.
• Assist with inventory and non-medical/medical supplies.
