Job summary

SportsCare Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Aide to support our clinical team in Piscataway, NJ. You will assist therapists, set up treatment areas, and help ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology is beneficial.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift/move equipment and assist patients as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care during therapy sessions, following the guidance of therapists.
• Prepare treatment areas and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for use.
• Educate patients on exercises, proper form, and treatment goals as directed by clinicians.
• Maintain cleanliness of therapy rooms and equipment.
• Assist with laundry and restock supplies as needed.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and track progress.
• Report equipment issues to staff and ensure proper maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with patients and clinical teammates for smooth care.
