Job summary

Holy Cross Health in Florida is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and decrease deformity from disease or injury.

Responsibilities include administering manual therapies, discharging patients when goals are met with proper follow-up, documenting progress, reviewing referrals, and teaching home treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy is required.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Florida is required.
• BLS through American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitation programs to improve mobility and strength.
• Administer manual exercises, massage and/or traction to relieve pain and improve function.
• Discharge patients when goals are attained, with appropriate follow-up care or referrals.
• Record prognosis, treatment, response, and progress; document in patient charts/computer.
• Review referrals and patient records to determine diagnosis and treatment; instruct home procedures.
