Central Florida Therapy in Central Florida is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat children from infancy through adolescence, with flexible, part-time scheduling. The role includes supervising PTAs and developing individualized treatment plans within a collaborative team.

Eligible candidates hold a Florida PT license and have experience with pediatric populations; Medicaid provider number or eligibility is preferred.

Formación

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Florida PT license in good standing.
• Experience working with pediatric populations with diverse disabilities.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to patient-centered, family-focused care.

Responsabilidades

• Perform comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations of pediatric patients
• Create and implement individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans
• Deliver hands-on therapy to improve strength, mobility, coordination, and motor skills
• Educate parents and caregivers on home exercise programs and therapeutic activities
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including SLPs, OTs, and physicians
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
• Stay informed on the latest pediatric physical therapy techniques and evidence-based practices

Position Summary:

The Pediatric Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating and treating children from infancy through adolescence with a range of physical conditions. This role also includes developing individualized treatment plans and providing clinical supervision to Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), scheduled according to your availability.

• Perform comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations of pediatric patients
