Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onancock, Virginia, is seeking a Part-time Physical Therapist to carry out evaluations, determine diagnoses, and develop individualized plans of care for patients with acute and chronic conditions in inpatient and/or outpatient settings.

The therapist will work under Rehab Services management, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, educate patients and families, and help maximize functional outcomes while adhering to guidelines and discharge criteria.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (Required).
• Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy preferred.
• Less than 1 year patient care experience preferred.
• Virginia PT license required.
• CPR/BLS certification within 30 days required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs evaluations, determines PT diagnoses, and develops plan of care.
• Executes physical therapy procedures to aid in restoring function, improving mobility, relieving pain, improving health, and preventing disability.
• Collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team to support patient care needs.
• Educates patients and family members about the recovery process and discharge planning.
• Records patient's progress and updates the plan of care.
