Advanced Physical Therapy in the Metro Detroit area seeks a passionate Part-Time Physical Therapist to join its Berkley, MI team. You will deliver high-quality patient care, develop and initiate treatment plans, and document progress for optimal outcomes.

New graduates are encouraged to apply; current MI license and CPR certification required. You will collaborate with physicians, insurers, and caregivers while expanding your clinical skills and pursuing ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree from CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current MI license and CPR certification.
• Ability to create and implement outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation treatment plans or willingness to learn.
• Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment.
• Basic PC skills including EMR, database software, and MS Office.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results
• Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines
• Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers
• Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
• Complete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and develop a comprehensive program to attain goals
• Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments
• Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies
