Phoenix Physical Therapy in Richmond, VA is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to develop and implement therapy programs that restore function and improve movement. You will coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team and supervise PT assistants and rehab staff.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, designing rehab plans, guiding exercises, maintaining confidentiality and safety, and ensuring compliance with Medicare and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Physical Therapy.
• Physical Therapy license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Competency in PT evaluation, assessment, care planning and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Meets with patients to collect medical history, evaluate current physical ability, and develop rehabilitative treatment programs.
• Uses therapeutic procedures, exercise, or equipment to restore movement, strength, or flexibility.
• Coordinates care across an interdisciplinary team and oversees PT assistants, rehab aides, trainers.
• Re-evaluates patient status and modifies care plan as needed; educates patients and families.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and safety.
• Maintain compliance with Medicare and quality initiatives.
• Maintain a safe, healthy work environment and follow standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
