Job summary

May ABA Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities in West Springfield is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to support teaching staff by integrating therapeutic activities into student programs. You will collaborate with teachers, families, and educational teams to assess needs, set goals, and provide ongoing consultation.

Requirements include graduation from an approved physical therapy program and an active Massachusetts PT license.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved program in physical therapy.
• Valid and current license as a PT in Massachusetts.
• Demonstrated commitment to student progress.
• Ability to multi-task and take initiative.
• Enjoys working with a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with teachers and staff on student progress and needs.
• Consults on PT profiles and objectives within IEPs.
• Provides in-services to classroom staff.
• Instructs teachers to carry out daily physical therapy programs.
• Observes classrooms and provides feedback to teachers.

Education
