Job summary

STAR Physical Therapy is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a floater position serving Sumner County clinic locations. The role involves performing comprehensive evaluations, designing individualized treatment plans, and maintaining precise records.

You will supervise PTAs and other clinical staff, contribute to program development, and participate in community outreach as directed. The position requires a CAPTE-accredited PT program graduate with Tennessee licensure and CPR

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Current Tennessee Physical Therapist license is required.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations assessing ROM, strength, posture, balance, and ADLs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluations.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports per facility procedures.
• Interact professionally with patients, families, and staff.
• Supervise PTAs, Exercise Physiologists, Technicians, ATs, and students.
• Ensure supervised staff carry out procedures as outlined in evaluations.
• Contribute to program development and participate in educational activities.
• Assist in outreach community events as directed by the Clinic Director.
• Adhere to state practice acts and APTA code of ethics.
• Must have a degree from an accredited program and Tennessee PT license.
