Job summary

STAR Physical Therapy seeks a Physical Therapist (Floater) to support Sumner County clinics. You will perform comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized plans, and help advance clinical education while delivering patient-centered care.

The role offers full-time hours with autonomous practice across multiple sites and opportunities for mentorship within a growing network of clinics. Applicants must be licensed in Tennessee, have CPR, and graduate from a CAPTE-accredited program; new

Qualifications

• Must have a degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current license as a Physical Therapist in Tennessee.
• CPR certification and ability to work autonomously.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive PT evaluations including ROM, strength, gait, and balance.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate records and reports per facility procedures.
• Interact professionally with patients, families, and staff.
• Supervise PTAs, exercise physiologists, technicians, and students.
• Ensure therapies align with PT evaluations and clinic protocols.
• Contribute to program development and clinical education.
• Assist in outreach community events as directed by Clinic Director.
• Adhere to Tennessee state practice act and APTA ethics.
