Job summary

Providence St Elias Specialty Hospital in Anchorage, AK is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join as a part-time clinician (0.8 FTE) for daytime shifts. The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy, Alaska licensure, and BLS from the American Heart Association.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university.
• Alaska Physical Therapist License required upon hire.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required upon hire.
• Preferred: 1 year acute and rehabilitation procedures experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides evaluation, care and treatment of patients with physical disabilities and pain within the scope of practice as a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Participates in an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement therapeutic interventions and instructional programs.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served.
