Job summary

AdvantageCare Rehabilitation is seeking a Part-Time Physical Therapist for Christ the King Manor in DuBois, PA. Earn a $5,000 sign-on bonus and enjoy a consistent part-time schedule with regular hours.

As a PT on our rehab team, you’ll evaluate and treat adults, develop individual plans of care, address mobility needs, and work with PTAs, OTs, nurses, and other clinicians to support safe, independent living.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current Pennsylvania Physical Therapist license or eligibility.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with PTAs and the interdisciplinary team.
• Geriatric or rehabilitation experience is a plus, but not required.
• Patient-first approach to therapy.

Responsibilities

• Performing comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations
• Developing individualized plans of care and functional goals
• Addressing strength, balance, gait, transfers, endurance and mobility
• Providing therapeutic exercise and functional mobility training
• Working on fall prevention and safety
• Assessing and recommending appropriate assistive devices
• Monitoring patient progress and modifying treatment plans as needed
• Supervising and collaborating with Physical Therapist Assistants
• Educating patients, families and caregivers
• Working closely with the interdisciplinary care team
• Completing accurate and timely clinical documentation
