Ambercare Homecare is seeking a part-time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our growing team in Santa Fe, NM. The PTA will provide direct therapy under the direction of a licensed PT, with a focus on reducing pain, restoring function, and improving mobility for home care patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Current PTA licensure in the state of practice.
• CPR certification maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct physical therapy under supervision and in accordance with plan of care.
• Treats patients to relieve pain and restore function.
• Directs and assists patients in therapeutic exercises and mobility training.
• Administers modalities and assists with home visits as needed.
• Maintains clinical notes and progress reports for the patient record.
• Reports changes to supervising PT and Director of Therapy.
