Job summary

Takeda's BioLife plasma center in Pomona seeks a part-time phlebotomy screener/phlebotomist to support plasma center operations. You will welcome donors, perform phlebotomy, screen donors, and maintain donor charts.

This role requires current CPT1, CPT2, CLS, or MLT licenses. Shifts are 4–6 hours, 3+ days per week, including weekends/holidays; starting wage $19.50 per hour, with benefits and training.

Qualifications

• Must hold current California CPT1, CPT2, CLS, or MLT license/certification.
• Part-time role with 4–6 hour shifts, 3+ days per week.
• Customer-facing experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors, ensuring donor and team safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger-stick results.
• Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and initiate changes per approved procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
