Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent with <1 year phlebotomy experience
• Graduation from a phlebotomy training program or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy preferred
• Customer service experience preferred

Responsabilidades

• Collect, register, and process patient specimens using a variety of collection techniques and computer systems.
• Follow patient identification protocols for all ages; may perform EKGs; may travel to various locations.
• Perform safe venipuncture, heel or finger sticks and oversee collection of other specimens; label specimens per protocol.
• Maintain supplies, equipment, and cleanliness; manage temperatures and quality assurance tasks.
• Answer inquiries with clear, courteous communication and support quality improvement initiatives.
