Job description

We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center.

Work Schedule: 25 hours weekly, Mon‑Fri 6:30am‑11:30am, rotating Saturday 7:00am‑11:00am.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
  • Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
  • Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Process billing information and collect payments when required.
  • Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
  • Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
  • Provide superior customer service to all patients.
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
  • Travel to additional sites when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program, or at least 3 months experience as a phlebotomist.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.
  • Certification from an accredited agency.
  • Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • Exceptional customer service and strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work independently or on a team.
  • Comfortable with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable transportation.
Additional Job Standards
  • Possibility of PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
