Job summary

St. Mark's Hospital is seeking a Phlebotomist for a part-time role in Salt Lake City, Utah. You will be part of the Laboratory team, collecting blood and urine specimens, labeling and transporting them, and performing related clerical duties.

The position requires phlebotomy experience or a phlebotomy training program completion, and a valid certification. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential to provide accurate test results and patient care.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience or completion of a phlebotomy training program within 6 months.
• Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification required.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient computer and clerical skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood samples and urine for laboratory testing per physician orders.
• Prepare and label specimens; register tests in LIS.
• Communicate lab test requests and results to staff and physicians.
• Assist with specimen collection methods and education of patients.
