Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Pleasant Grove, UT. Work schedule is Monday - Friday 9:00AM - 6:00PM, performing blood collections, data entry, and patient service at a Patient Service Center.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred candidates have Labcorp experience and 1+ year of phlebotomy experience, with opportunities for quarterly incentive bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
