Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Kirkland, WA, working in a Patient Service Center or Client office. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques and provide exceptional customer service.

Daily schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00am–12:00pm, with additional hours and rotating Saturdays as needed. A valid Washington phlebotomy license and 3+ months of phlebotomy experience are preferred; travel to additional sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington State phlebotomy license is required.
• Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
