Job summary

The Phoenix Recovery Center in South Jordan, UT is seeking a dependable part-time Phlebotomist/Medical Support staff member to assist our medical team at our behavioral health treatment facility.

The role involves performing weekly blood draws, labeling and preparing specimens, taking vital signs, and supporting the Medical Director and medical records tasks. On-site, 5–6 hours per week, with $18–$20 per hour DOE.

Qualifications

• Current phlebotomy certification/licensure to perform blood draws.
• Experience with venipuncture and blood draws.
• MA certification is a plus but not required if qualified.
• Dependable with a consistent weekly schedule.
• Comfortable working with clients in a behavioral health setting.
• Must pass required background screening.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled weekly blood draws for clients.
• Label, handle, and prepare specimens per procedures.
• Obtain vital signs as needed.
• Assist the Medical Director with follow-up tasks and miscellaneous medical needs.
• Assist with medical records and basic administrative tasks.
• Maintain client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

The Phoenix Recovery Center is seeking a dependable part-time Phlebotomist/Medical Support staff member to assist our medical team at our South Jordan behavioral health treatment facility.

Qualifications

• Current phlebotomy certification/license or other appropriate credential to perform blood draws
• Experience performing venipuncture and blood draws
• Medical Assistant (MA) certification is a plus, but not required if otherwise qualified to perform the position's duties
• Dependable and able to maintain a consistent weekly schedule
• Comfortable working with clients in a behavioral health setting
• Must meet required background screening requirements

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled weekly blood draws for clients
• Properly label, handle, and prepare specimens according to established procedures
• Obtain vital signs as needed
• Assist the Medical Director with follow-up tasks and miscellaneous medical needs
• Assist with medical records and other basic administrative tasks as assigned
• Communicate appropriately with the medical and treatment teams regarding assigned tasksMaintain client confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements

Pay & Schedule

Approximately 5–6 hours per week- can be done in 1 shift or across 2 days

• Consistent weekly schedule established upon hire
• $18- $20 per hour DOE
• On-site gym and pickleball court available for staff use
