Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Oneida, TN, Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The role involves collecting specimens, performing phlebotomy procedures, data entry, billing tasks, and ensuring accurate processing of samples in a fast-paced lab environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred medical training and phlebotomy certification. Part-time schedule includes benefits eligibility and potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer and enter data accurately.
• Obtain ID and enter billing information; collect payments as required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stock, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails.
• Read and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data compilation.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and training completion.
