Quest Diagnostics Inc. in Leesburg, VA, seeks a Part-Time Phlebotomist II to work Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM with rotational weekends. Pay ranges from $23.20 to $24.90 per hour, with eligibility for annual bonus opportunities dependent on performance and company policy.

The role requires three years of phlebotomy experience, data entry skills, and reliable transportation. Education includes a high school diploma; medical training or phlebotomy certification is preferred and required

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screenings, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and accurately enter data.
• Enter billing information and collect payments following policies.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, preparation for transport).
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, email).
• Read and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submissions as required.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and maintenance/temperature logs.
• Complete online and in-person training timely.
