Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Inc. in Wareham, MA seeks a Phlebotomist I for Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM with rotational weekends. The position offers a pay range of $22.80–$24.45 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include specimen collection, data entry, and adherence to lab procedures. A high school diploma and phlebotomy training are required or preferred, with certification preferred in some states.

• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to established training.
• Research test/client information and confirm and verify all written and electronic orders.
• Navigate a computer and accurately enter data.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information and collect payments where required.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and preparing for transport.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete training timely.
