• Become familiar with all procedures and instruction guides to obtaining specimens and instructing patients.
• Verify information and patient identity.
• Deliver specimens to appropriate processing area.
• Document tests sent to reference labs and file results and copies for physician records.
• Maintain cleanliness and stocked supplies in the work area.
• Assist with filing and other clerical duties such as greeting and checking in patients.
