Pride Health is hiring a Part-Time Phlebotomist for a medical facility in Fort Pierce, FL. This 4-month assignment may extend or convert, with pay between $19 and $21 per hour on a W-2 basis.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
• Minimum of 6 months experience.
• One or more years phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.

Responsibilities

• Represents Pride Health to patients, assisting with health routines and life-defining health decisions.
• Draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares specimens for lab testing following procedures.
• Maintains trust with patients, explains procedures, and draws blood safely and accurately.
• Demonstrates leadership behaviors focusing on process excellence and confidentiality of patient information.
• Under the area supervisor, performs daily activities accurately and on time.
