Job summary

Asset Risk Inc. is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to join our team in Oklahoma City. You will collect blood, tissue, and fluid samples from patients, playing a vital role in identifying health conditions and guiding care.

Responsibilities include prioritizing urgent requests, collecting patient information, selecting venipuncture methods, and reassuring patients during collection. You will use sterile equipment and ensure samples are labeled and sent for testing.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician.
• Phlebotomy diploma preferred.
• Knowledge of patient identification best practices.
• Familiarity with legal requirements for blood draws and fluid samples.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize sample collection requests by urgency.
• Collect patients' personal information.
• Determine venipuncture method for each patient.
• Provide reassurance during the collection process.
• Use sterilized needles, vials and equipment to draw blood.
• Label samples and send for testing.
