Job summary

ASSET RISK INC is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Oklahoma City. You will collect blood, tissue, and fluid samples, ensuring accurate labeling and timely submission for testing, while delivering comfort and reassurance to patients.

This role emphasizes proper patient identification, sterile technique, and attention to data entry as part of the workflow. Previous phlebotomy experience and a phlebotomy diploma are preferred; training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician is required or preferred.
• Knowledge of patient identification methods and best practices.
• Strong data entry and computer skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize requests for sample collection based on urgency.
• Collect patients’ personal information.
• Determine the correct venipuncture method for each patient.
• Provide patients with reassurance during the collection process.
• Use sterilized needles, vials, and other equipment to draw blood.
• Correctly label samples and send them for testing.
