Job summary

Labcorp in Windermere, FL is seeking a Part-time Phlebotomist to join a Patient Service Center. You will perform blood collections, ensure accurate data entry, and provide outstanding customer service to patients and providers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency may substitute for experience.
• Ability to pass a color blindness test.
• Willingness to overtime as needed.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Travel to additional sites when needed
