Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Wisconsin is hiring for a part-time Phlebotomist. Expect 4 to 6 hours per day, 3+ days each week, with pay starting at $17.00 per hour. You will support plasma collection through donor screening, venipuncture, and plasma center operations, reporting to the Plasma Center Manager.

This role emphasizes customer service, reliability, and adherence to safety protocols. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or accepted.
• Customer interactions with donors and patients preferred.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good manual dexterity for measurements and sampling.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and program plasmapheresis machines.
• Monitor donor during donation and manage reactions.
• Setup, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on plasmapheresis machines.
• Stock supplies and assist with disposal of cartons.
• Take donor vitals and monitor the donor questionnaire system.
• Perform finger sticks and record hematocrit, protein, and weight.
• Enter donor data into the Donor Information System (DIS).
• Coordinate donors to the donor floor and compensate via Debit Card system.
• Support center management with process improvements (5S, VSM, Kaizen).
