BioReference Health, LLC seeks a part-time Phlebotomist in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey, to perform blood draws and specimen preparation with a focus on patient comfort. Schedule includes multiple shifts throughout the week.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, and a valid phlebotomy certification. Experience with labeling, centrifuging, and specimen handling is preferred, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state of employment.
• Minimum 6 months’ venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood draws and label specimens correctly.
• Centrifuge specimens and document maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture and specimen collection processes clearly to patients.
• Identify and match requisitions with specimens and prepare them for transport.
• Package and store specimens per procedures and transport rules.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
• Answer calls and relay laboratory results as needed.
• Attend annual department trainings and perform other duties as assigned.
