We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a busy Patient Service Center. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections, and be the face of the company. Opportunities for growth within the organization are available.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am to 1:30 pm; rotating Saturdays may be required.

Work Location: Portland, OR

Job Responsibilities:

1. Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
2. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests.
3. Accurately and promptly enter patient information.
4. Process billing information and collect payments as needed.
5. Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
6. Maintain patient and specimen logs.
7. Provide superior customer service to all patients.
8. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
9. Travel to additional sites when required.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency preferred.
• Previous experience as a phlebotomist preferred.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Proven track record in exceptional customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Comfortable working with minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record if applicable.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
