Job summary

C cub Fridley is seeking a part-time pharmacy technician to assist the pharmacist with filling prescriptions, price checks and stock support. The role emphasizes customer relations, hazardous drug handling, and compliance with Board of Pharmacy regulations, with varied weekly shifts.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 18+ years old, and the ability to work weekends/evenings, read and communicate effectively, and handle multiple tasks in a busy pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Ability to operate office equipment as needed.
• Ability to work extended hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read and see things at reading distance.
• Ability to comprehend written and verbal communication.
• Ability to read/view computer screens for long periods.
• Good judgment when supervision may not be immediately available.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in filling prescriptions.
• Process customers’ orders with price accuracy and product knowledge.
• Maintain positive customer relations.

• Receive and stock department items.
• Assist in ordering.
• Pull bottles of drugs for pharmacists to fill prescriptions.
