Job summary

Cub Inver Grove Heights is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support the Pharmacy team by processing prescriptions, keeping records, and maintaining shelf stock for maximum product availability. The role focuses on assisting the pharmacist and ensuring accurate pricing and product knowledge for customers.

Ideal candidate will help with receiving and stocking, maintain compliance with Board of Pharmacy regulations, and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to use office equipment as needed.
• Willingness to work weekends and evenings.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfort with reading and viewing computer screens for long periods.

Job Overview:

Cub Inver Grove Heights is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a part time pharmacy technician position! Pharmacy Technician team members at Cub are processing prescriptions, record keeping and stock support to Pharmacy. The position is also responsible for maintaining shelf stock to ensure maximum product availability and sales.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assists the pharmacist in filling prescriptions
• Responsible for accurately processing customers' orders through ensuring price accuracy and product knowledge
• Ensures positive customer relations
• Hazardous drug handling
• Performs department receiving and stocking
• Assists in ordering
• Pulls bottles of drugs for Pharmacists to fill prescriptions
• Organizes and cleans
• Maintains Board of Pharmacy regulations

Job Requirements:

• Ability to communicate through two-way verbal and written communication (speech, hearing and writing).
• Ability to operate and use as needed various office equipment (personal computer, telephone, fax).
• Ability to work extended hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to write and see things in close proximity (reading distance).
• Ability to comprehend written and verbal communication.
• Ability to read/ view computer screens for extensive periods of time.
• Requires High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age and older
• Good judgement is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.

Physical Requirements:

• Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
