Job summary

NYU Langone Florida is seeking a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician for West Palm Beach, FL. Under supervision, you will assist in processing medication orders, prepare drugs and parenteral products, and ensure accurate labeling and documentation.

You will support pharmacists, manage inventory, and deliver medications to nursing units in a fast-paced hospital setting. The role requires a pharmacy technician certification or NYS intern permit, good communication, and the ability to multitask and stand

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with pharmacy technician certification or intern permit.
• Pharmacy Technician experience required, certification required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and be a team player.
• Ability to stand for up to 80% of work time and lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepackages medications (tablets, capsules, liquids) and prepares parenteral products.
• Labels medications and prepares orders for patient delivery.
• Delivers medications to Nursing Units and assists pharmacists as needed.
• Replenishes floor stock and checks for outdated drugs monthly.
• Processes invoices and paperwork for records and billing.
• Maintains records of drugs and solutions prepared for patients.
