NYU Langone Florida is seeking a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician for West Palm Beach, FL. You will support pharmacists, prepare medications, and handle dispensing duties in a busy pharmacy setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required and licensure/certification as Pharmacy Technician (NHA/PTCB) or NYS Pharmacy Intern permit.
• Ability to operate a PC and basic pharmacy software.

Responsibilities

• Prepackages oral medications (tablets, capsules, liquids).
• Prepares parenteral products in batches and documents as required.
• Stocks unit dose carts for delivery.
• Receives and stores pharmaceuticals from manufacturers or distributors.
• Replenishes pharmacy floor stock on Nursing units.
• Affixes labels to storage containers.
• Delivers medications to Nursing Units.
• Answers calls and assists pharmacists as needed.
• Maintains records of drugs and solutions prepared for patients.
