Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician licensure or NYS Pharmacy Intern permit required.
• Pharmacy Technician experience and certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers medications to Nursing Units
• Answers telephones in a timely manner
• Assists pharmacist as needed
• Replenishes pharmacy shelves with overstock
• Checks area for outdated drugs
• Properly processes invoices and paperwork
• Maintains records of drugs and solutions prepared for patients
