Job summary

CVS Health is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, efficient service at our retail locations. You will assist with prescription fulfillment, patient interactions, and adherence to SOPs to ensure accurate dispensing and a compassionate customer experience.

As a part-time Technician, you will complete required training, maintain licensing per state rules, and potentially travel within the market to support stores.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements.
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address minimum age, must be at least 16.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or actively enrolled in high school or equivalency program.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care.
• Assist with inventory and ensure proper handling of medication deliveries.
• Maintain patient safety by confirming prescription information and label accuracy.
• Support immunizations and point-of-care services where allowed and trained.
