Job summary

CVS Health in Columbia, SC is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams with safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate patient service. You will follow SOPs, assist with immunizations where allowed, and help maintain inventory and patient safety.

This role requires you to meet state board requirements, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be prepared for weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including licensure/certification.
• Minimum age guidance: if not mandated by state board, at least 16 years old.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
• High school diploma or equivalent required or actively enrolled in school.

Responsibilities

• Regular, predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Assist pharmacists with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic, patient-centered service at pick-up, drive-thru, and phone.
• Maintain inventory and assist with medication handling per SOPs and law.
