Job summary

UnitedHealth Group in Lafayette, IN is seeking a Part Time Pharmacy Technician to support dispensing and clerical tasks under a Registered Pharmacist. This 20-hour weekly role runs Monday–Friday from 1:00pm–5:00pm EST and requires Indiana licensure and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities include processing prescriptions, inventory management, and maintaining compliance with federal/state requirements, while delivering excellent customer service to clinic staff and patients.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Indiana Pharmacy Technician license.
• Ability to use own car to make deliveries when needed.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service to consumers and clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders under direct supervision of the Pharmacist.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records.
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and ensure compliance with federal and state requirements.
• Performs clerical duties related to the department.
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Other duties as assigned.
