Job summary

Pinnacle Healthcare, LLC is seeking a part-time pharmacy technician in Crown Point, Indiana, to support pharmacists with dispensing duties and drug information. The role requires working three days a week, with a 2pm–9pm shift, and a willingness to cover for other technicians as needed.

Under supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will perform duties related to dispensing and patient guidance, leveraging your hospital pharmacy experience and USP <797> knowledge where applicable.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacy technician in Indiana required.
• PTCB certification preferred but not required.
• 1 year+ hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Knowledge of USP <797> is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in dispensing medications and providing drug information under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Support pharmacists with preparation and labeling of medications as needed.
• Work three days per week; 2pm–9pm shift; willing to cover off days for other techs.

FLEXIBLE, experienced in healthcare part-time person needed for varied weekdays. Under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist, assists in a wide variety of trained skills necessary for the dispensing of drugs and drug information.

Three days per week. Shift is 2p-9p only. Also willingness to cover for off days and vacations for other techs.

Requirements

• LICENSED pharmacy technician in State of Indiana (PTCB certified preferable but not required)
• Preferred: 1 year + of hospital pharmacy experience, compounding certification or similar experience/education encouraged, knowledge of USP <797>
