We are dedicated to providing accessible, high-quality, evidence-based medication-assisted treatment (MAT) options to combat the opioid epidemic and support people on their recovery journey. Our outpatient clinics are located across Georgia, Kentucky, New Jersey, North and South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia, serving over 26,500 patients.

Day in the Life of a Pharmacy Technician
  • Record patient name, dose, and takeout details on logs and proper documentation (liquid or tablets).
  • Review patient flags prior to dosing.
  • Verify patient doses against dose level and flags for accuracy.
  • Ensure patients sign logs before dosing.
  • Check ID or digital photograph in Methasoft matches the patient.
  • Secure methadone at the dosing window.
  • Enforce 'lock box' policy.
  • Verify patient names and dates on returned bottles from previous doses.
  • Order pharmacy supplies as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy and supplies.
  • Use appropriate sinks for cleaning dispensing equipment.
  • Secure the dispensing area when leaving.
  • Provide excellent customer service, including checking in patients, receiving payments, and supporting daily operations.
  • Maintain a friendly, professional attitude and offer a positive experience.
  • Assist new patients through their intake process.
  • Collect urine and saliva samples for drug screening as needed.
  • Maintain daily financial records and reports.
  • Coordinate with medical and clinical staff for patient intake.
  • Provide clerical and logistical support.
  • Manage patient accounts and financial responsibilities.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Pharmacy Technician certification required.
Schedule

Must be available to work a part-time schedule within operating hours

  • Monday-Friday; 4:45am-12:15pm
